Board of Education Special Meetings for Superintendent Search - April 14 & 15, 2026

The Steamboat Springs School District Board of Education will hold a special meeting on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at 8:00 am. The purpose of the meeting is to conduct public interviews with the superintendent finalists. The meeting will be held live at the District Office, 325 7th Street.The Board will not be taking public comment at this special meeting. 

The agenda and packet are available in Boardbook here. This special meeting will be held in person and will also be livestreamed on the District website. Only the Board interviews, reports by the interview teams, and the naming of the finalist to fill the vacancy are public and will be livestreamed. The livestream will be available after the meeting on the District website until Friday, April 17, 2026. If the Board is unable to make a decision on April 14, a special meeting will be held on April 15, 2026 at 7:30 am at the  District Office. The purpose of the special meeting on April 15 (if needed) will be to review confidential information and discuss prioritizing among the finalists, naming a superintendent finalist and appoint a Board member to negotiate with said finalist.
