Board of Education Communications and Meetings: Board of Education Business Meeting & Work Session, January 12, 2026

The Steamboat Springs School District Board of Education will hold a business meeting and work session on Monday, January 12, 2026 at 4:30 pm at Steamboat Springs Middle School, 39610 Amethyst Dr. Reports and Communications will include SSSD Celebrations, a Strategic Plan Focus Area Three Update, a Superintendent Succession Planning Discussion, and a Finance Update.  The work session will follow the business meeting and the work session topics will include: Pros and Cons of Paying Off Certificate of Participation (COP) Debt, a Staff Evaluation Review, and a CASB Convention Debrief. The meeting will be held in person and will also be livestreamed on the District website. If you would like to participate in public comment, you will need to attend the meeting in person and sign up to speak.
The work session is open to the public but will not be livestreamed.
